Burnt Teacher Syndrome is a serious problem that worsens the quality of teaching and the teacher’s personal life. How to intervene?

  • If you are a teacher and experience one or more symptoms, a useful strategy is to adopt a good technique for managing stress. Among the most effective are mindfulness or progressive muscle relaxation. If the problem is out of control and you are feeling overwhelmed, the support of a psychologist is of great help.
  • Even a parent can make a small contribution, trying to facilitate the educational task of the teaching staff. After all, raising children is everyone’s responsibility.

Not only is the work to be done on teachers who have entered this vicious circle of stress important, but also prevention. In this sense we are all involved as a society, teachers by profession and not.
